I just want you to be love.

12 05 2008

And love ..
Such a silly game we play, oh,
Like a summer’s day in May.
What is love, what is love?
I just want it to be love
oooh. oh

I, I, I, I, I .. I can feel it in your kiss
It just gives me tender bliss
What is love, what is love?
I just want it to be love
oooh. oh.

When I feel you around,
I was mad as hell when I hit the ground.
When I see you laugh away
It hurts but I just won’t say,
uh uh uh. Loveee …

Who can tell me? I am lost.
I just think that I am strong.
What is love, what is love?
I just want it to be love.
ooooh ooh.

When I feel you around,
I was so upset we fell on the ground
When I see you mad at me
It was such a silly thing
ooooooh

And love ..
Such a silly game we play,
Like a summer’s day in May.
What is love, what is love?
I just want it to be love
ooooh. oh

and I, I, I, I, I, I can feel it in a kiss
It is something I will miss
What is love, what is love?
I just want you to be love

This was supposed to be yesterday’s post. So here it goes..

Amongst the very cliche storyline, this movie has its very funny moments. And Michelle, I can’t catch speed racer on Tuesday, I’ll tell you on MSN. Andy, paintball on 25th May, Sunday. Are you able to come? It’s less that $40/person.

The boy bought me to Kenko Wellness Spa for a massage as I had strained my shoulder. It was pretty painful to be elbowed, but still, there was a few minutes whereby the massage really soothes my shoulder, before the ache came back again. And finally, we went on board the Singapore Flyer. It was really lame that before we entered into the boarding area (rather like the airport, since we had gone through a baggage check earlier), there was this capsule in which you stood there with whoever you came, and they took a picture of you. On board, you couldn’t feel that you are moving at all, the ride gets boring when your stupid 8megapixel camera cannot take you and the surroundings at the back, but your 3.2megapixel phone can. On the whole, the boy and I pretty much enjoyed the ride. Its a once-in-a-lifetime experience, thus the need to board it only once. Maybe until the IR is built.

This show totally blew my mind. It is different from normal superheros movie, it shows how Ironman came about. The need to treasure lives and not let the weapons of Stark Industries land into the hands of bad guys. Tony Stark was a really brilliant scientist who engineered Ironman with state-of-the-art technology. I would definitely catch its’ sequels. :D

Had wasabi-tei for dinner, yes, I wasn’t happy the other time. I might be itching for a scolding, but today was a rare day that I saw a smile on his face. According to Jason’s observations, its in the uncle’s nature to be grumpy. And he actually claimed that I ordered the wrong thing when I was pointing at the cod fish terriyaki instead of salmon terriyaki. He was very clever, he actually wanted to push the dish to guy #13, but realised that guy #13 is not that easy to bully (note: a working adult), so he bullied me!! Even the boy said i ordered cod fish and when the uncle reconfirmed, it was the cod fish terriyaki! Thankfully, the meal never fails to satisfy.

Bored.

Yes, I deserved to be slapped. After whining for so long over the exams, it’s finally over. And merry holidays are here again, and I’m claiming that I’m bored (and its only the very first day). I spent the entire morning be-jeweling my iBank-ing device, its still half-done as of now. Went to this supposedly really huge party store, at Crawford Street, to buy some supplies for the party, but what I really can purchase is a few pathetic balloons. Went about my spying job in the bugis-city hall area. Ultra boredom. Until I saw Bluemax selling korean drama serials at $10-$15 per drama. So I bought a couple back for my mom as Mothers’ Day Presents. So I have walked the Crawford-Bugis-City Hall area, all in a day, and my feet is breaking. Free massage for me, anyone??

Post-exams truama.

7 05 2008

Exams ended, way before the clock struck 1:15pm. I finished the examinations early, knowing full well that I am owned. Literally. My friend wept because she missed a point, I doubt I even have a point in:

Leadership concerns more about people than management. Discuss.

But well, I shall see how things go. Got back the nightmare-of-the-semester projects, WIL. My team did not bad, my individual was alright, and was pretty uplifted by this news. Still pondering over the probability of changing course, the cost-benefits, pros and cons, the effort, the required knowledge, the future, the career path goals. And of course, my GPA would be relatively high if I were to switch (this is a HUGE plus point, beyond that, I would have to probe deeper).

Caught What Happenes in Vegas?, what can I say? Cameron Diaz is really stunning despite her age, and Ashton Krutcher, well, its just him. He looks much better with his hair slicked back and in a suit, with the tag “Joy’s bitch”. It rather touching, sentimental and soapy drama with a dash of humour in it.

Had Shokudo for dinner, its a japanese-marche-style dinner that serves different varieties of food that all I can smell is the oil sizzling and makes everything quite unappetizing. Or it might be due to the very late lunch I had in Xin Wang Cafe, the mee sua with fish and egg was really delicious. Took a walk around Citylink after dinner, and saw the new RMIT couple of the semester. It astonishes me how things usually works out and what is unexpected. Well, I was telling Jeanette that I’m the CNN of RMIT, to catch so many couples in action (strictly pertaining to holding hands only). Haha.

So I’m officially free. How strange it is to find that I’m not so happy, after all.

Its the holidays season!

A lazy afternoon.

2 05 2008

How I wish I could be sitting outside One Fullerton, sipping a cup of Starbucks Frauppucino.
Or, just maybe, cycle some distance in east coast park.

But no, I have to have exams tomorrow. Boo!
And it doesn’t help that half the house is cooling, while the other half is like an oven.
My study room happens to be on the side of the oven. Sunny-side up.

Mayday: Down to Earth 2008

27 04 2008

The concert started with madness. Way before it started. Fans thronged the stadium at 3plus, when the concert was only at 8. Is this die-hard or am I too laid back? Merchandise seemed to be distributed for free when they buy those highly overpriced shirts/wistbands/handphone strap/bags and whatever. They are even willing to purchase shirts that they know are way too big for them, but oh, we buy because Mayday wore it just now. Seriously, the power of Mayday. The opening was a bit strange, the entire concert too loud. However, Mayday’s concert as usual never fails to make everyone high, even more high than Jay Chou.

But can someone please buy me a ticket so I get to watch and not work?

Today the boy flew back from New Delhi at 7:11am. Surprised him at the airport, though I thought he looked kind of stunned instead of pleasantly surprised. Must be due to deprivation of sleep (like us, ie, kk and me). Woke up at 5am to journey to airport by 6:45am. Its really nice to see the world go around you, when you can extract yourself from the picture and unwind for a while.

Shopped in Chinatown for a bit, and did grocery shopping with the boy. Yea, exams. I know.

The boy napped while I cooked. I was really afraid that I made quite a din while I was cooking. Apparently, he was sleeping rather peacefully even while I flustered about. Before he knew it, viola, I had cooked Angel Hair Love (I shall name it, since the boy loves the dish :P ).

Yes, its a simple dish. Anyone can whipped it up in a second. At least, its the first step. :D
